About this eSIM

One data-only eSIM for 33 countries: every EU country, plus Gibraltar, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. It stays online from one country to the next, with nothing new to install at the border. Available as plans from 3 GB to 50 GB for 30 days.

You can buy and set up mobile data for Europe entirely online, from home. Once your payment arrives, the QR code is on screen within seconds, and by email if you gave one. Scan it with your phone, and it connects to a local network in each of its 33 countries when you land. There’s no airport kiosk to queue at and no phone shop where you have to explain what you need. Its 30 days only begin when it first connects, so buying early costs you nothing.

Internet exit: BelgiumWhere your connection reaches the public internet.

Credit back for data you don’t need

An opened data jar, a sealed one, and an arrow from the sealed jar to a wallet holding a credit token

There’s no credit back on the 5 GB plan. It comes with the 20 GB and 50 GB plans.

How it works

  1. Install at homeYour eSIM appears as soon as the payment lands. Tap Install, or scan the QR from another screen.
  2. Travel as usualNothing to do on the way. Your own SIM stays on for calls and texts.
  3. Land and you’re onlineTurn on data roaming for the esimjia line. Your 30 days start when it first connects in Europe.

Questions

Which countries are included?

These 33: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Europe + Ukraine & Moldova: adds Moldova, San Marino, Ukraine and Vatican City · without France and Gibraltar.

Does it work when I cross a border?

Yes. Keep data roaming on for the esimjia line and it joins a local network in each country it covers by itself. Nothing to switch or reinstall.

Is the UK included?

Yes, the United Kingdom is one of the 33 countries this eSIM covers.

How quickly do I get my eSIM?

Within seconds of your payment arriving. The QR code and install details appear on your order page, and in your email if you gave one.

Do I need a passport or ID?

No. There’s no registration and no document check: pay, then install.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, on any iPhone or Android phone that takes an eSIM and isn’t locked to a carrier. To check, dial *#06#: if an EID appears, your phone takes eSIMs.

When do the 30 days start?

When the eSIM first connects to a network in one of its countries, not when you buy or install it.

Do I keep my own phone number?

Yes. Your own SIM stays on for calls and texts, and WhatsApp keeps your number, while the eSIM handles data. If you’d like a second number, UK numbers from esimjia are coming soon.

What if I run out of data?

Top up from your eSIM’s page, at the same price as a plan of that size. The data is added to the same eSIM, so there’s nothing to reinstall. A top-up also resets the clock to 30 days.

Is the speed limited?

No. You get the whole allowance at the network’s normal speed, with no daily cap and no slowdown along the way. When it’s used up, top up to carry on.

Can I use it as a hotspot?

Yes. Share the connection with your laptop or a travel companion. What they use comes out of the same data.

Can I buy for a group or a team?

Yes. Choose how many eSIMs before you pay: each gets its own install link and QR code to hand out. For a team, an account keeps everyone’s eSIMs and top-ups in one place, paid from one balance.
